Nuit Blanche Toronto

Sep 30, 2015

Nuit Blanche is taking over downtown Toronto this weekend, and from Saturday night until Sunday morning, more than 60 contemporary art projects by the local art community and four curated exhibitions produced by the City of Toronto will be on display for the public to see.

This is Nuit Blanche’s tenth anniversary, making it an iconic year to go if you or your little ones have never been before. With so many exhibits to see and experience, we’ve chosen five that we think are really special:

 10 for 10th - Memory Lane

Light Cave, FriendsWithYou (150 York Street)

Independent Projects

The East Side Story, Department of Imaginary Affairs (St. James Park)

Special Projects

Mímir’s Well, Michael Howatson (Queen Richmond Centre)

Music (Everything I know I learned the day my son was born), Alfredo Jaar (Allan Gardens Conservatory)

Independent Projects

Genesis: Memory Lane, AVANI (Spadina Museum)

When planning your night out with your family, be sure to check out Nuit Blanche’s event map and ‘need to know’ section so you don’t waste time searching for the exhibits when you’re at the event. Stay warm, sometimes it gets quite chilly, and most importantly, have fun!
