School’s out until the new year and your little ones have a lot of extra time (and energy) on their hands. Fortunately, there’s enough going on in Toronto to keep them occupied until school is back in session.

Explore the Magic of Casa Loma at night! Wander through the dazzling lighting display in the gardens and witness famed illusionist entertainer Professor Wick’s holiday themed magic show. Kids are invited to scour the castle on a scavenger hunt, visit with wintery holiday mascots, sing along with live carollers, and enjoy savoury chilli, s’mores, and hot cocoa.

Come celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ross Petty’s Peter Pan at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre. The shows have introduced thousands of audience members to the magic of live theatre and will keep both kids and adults entertained.

Escape to Planet ROM for the holidays and embark on a planetary odyssey. Experience what it’s like to control a Mars rover prototype, play in the Space Arcade and touch a meteorite. Planet ROM takes you to a galaxy far, far away, while keeping your feet firmly planted on Earth.

Watch Mickey and Minnie Mouse host this year’s Disney on Ice. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Rapunzel and many more will dazzle as they spin, jump and twirl at the Rogers Centre.

The Children’s Discovery Centre is Toronto's only children’s museum designed by a team of early childhood development professionals, specifically for kids aged 0 to 6 years, to play, create, explore and use their imagination. The museum will have special holiday operating hours from now until January 3.
